HALLELUJAH - It's Good Friday!
“Hallelujah” is a Hebrew word that means “Praise the Lord” or more literally, “Praise Yahweh” (“Hallel” = praise, “Yah” = a shortened form of Yahweh, the name of God).
Today is Good Friday. It’s the day Jesus was beaten, mocked, and nailed to a cross.
And yet… we say Hallelujah.
The cross wasn’t a tragedy — it was the plan. Jesus took our place. His suffering brought our healing and his death opened the way to life.
In Revelation 19, “Hallelujah” is shouted in heaven when God’s justice and redemption are complete. And on Good Friday, we shall shout it from our soul, knowing Sunday is coming.
Hallelujah for the cross. Hallelujah for mercy. Hallelujah for our Savior who completed the prophecy. SUNDAY IS COMING.
